ACCESORIES
FLOWMETER

Rockwin Flowmeter’s range of accessories allows to tailor flowmeters to customer’s exact requirements.

Pick Off Sensor

The standard Pick-off Sensor are magnetic reluctance type. Each output is approximately 30 mV peak to peak at minimum flow.

Pre-Amplifiers

The Pre Amplifier amplifies the low voltage signal from the Turbine Flowmeters into current pulses at a suitable level for transmission over long distances or through noisy environments. .

F-I Converters

The F-I Converter converts millivolt pulses from a Turbine Flowmeter pickup into a 4-20 mA linear signal representing rate of flow.

Panel Mounted Totalizer

Designed for indication and integration of flow, preset batching, hi-low alarms and analog outputs.

Remote Area Totalizer

Remote Area Totalizer is designed for inexpensive Totalization and Flow Rate Readouts of liquids and gases.

Flow Straightner

The use of Flow Straightners significantly improves the accuracy of measurement

Strainer

The available sizes are from ¾ inch to 20" in any mesh size and a class from 150 # to 900#

Strainer cum Air Eliminator

Strainer along with the Air Eliminator can be used to disperse the air from the pipeline.

Pick Off Sensor

The standard Pick-off Sensor are magnetic reluctance type. Each output is approximately 30 mV peak to peak at minimum flow. The frequency generated is directly proportional to the rotation of the Turbine Meter Rotor, or in other words, the flow rate.
Different models of Pick-off Sensors are available according to the different areas of use such as standard, intrinsically safe, high temperature applications.

Pre-Amplifiers

The Pre Amplifier amplifies the low voltage signal from the Turbine Flowmeters into current pulses at a suitable level for transmission over long distances or through noisy environments. To minimize installation costs, these current pulses are modulated into the power supply lines so that the number of wires required for connection is reduced to two and number of safety barriers to one. It is designed to meet the requirement of Petroleum Industry, and is certified for Hazardous Area Applications. Rockwin’s Pre Amplifier is enclosed in rugged conduit box, which is weatherproof to IP 65

F-I Converters

The F-I Converter converts millivolt pulses from a Turbine Flowmeter pickup into a 4-20 mA linear signal representing rate of flow. The output current is modulated on to the supply lines, so only two wires are needed to connect into the readouts. Rockwin’s F-I Converter are certified for use in Hazardous Area Application. The rugged box is certified weatherproof to IP 65.

Panel Mounted Totalizer

Series 9000/7000 family of electronics is designed for indication and integration of flow, preset batching, hi-low alarms and analog outputs. Various models in standard DIN size enclosures are available for individual or any combination of the above features.

Remote Area Totalizer

Remote Area Totalizer is designed for inexpensive Totalization and Flow Rate Readouts of liquids and gases. Rockwin’s TMTR 8600 is meter mounted batter powered electronic unit. Remote Area Totalizer is housed in certified casing for Hazardous Area Applications. Pulse or Analog transmission facility is available as options.

Flow Straightner

The use of Flow Straightners significantly improves the accuracy of measurement where application conditions are characterized by asymmetric and swirling flow. These Straightners make the flow laminar. The body of and the flanges are constructed from Carbon Steel and the straightening section (tube bundle) is manufactured from Stainless Steel 304 or 316. End Connections are available to ANSI DIN, BS or other standard specifications.

Strainer

Rockwin’s Strainers are fabricated from certified materials by coded welders and hydrostatically pressure tested 1.5 times the working pressure. They have versatile design and constructions. The Inlet, Outlet and body sizes can be adapted to suit line size and pressure drop requirements. The product range of Rockwin included Basket Type Strainer. The available sizes are from ¾ inch to 20 inch in any mesh size.

Strainer

Strainer along with the Air Eliminator can be used to disperse the air from the pipeline. Air in the pipeline can cause damage to the flowmeter and is also a source of incorrect flowmeter reading.
